Dear Fellow Indo-Aarhusians, Diwali is almost coming and we now know what to do! We at IndiansInAarhus.Com have planned a day of music, fun, food and a great way of bringing us all on the same platform. It will be a great opportunity to meet each other, make new associations and make our stay in the 'Smallest Big City' more memorable. On Saturday, the 17th October, we start with the beat of Bhangra at Musikhuset, Aarhus. Anita Lerche, a Danish singer who has become quite popular in Punjab by singing Punjabi songs will be giving an hour long concert. We then move to the University where we would spend the rest of the day being culturally and actually fed. Spiredon Kayyal, an enthusiastic musician from Palestine and now Denmark, who fell in love with Indian classical music and spent years in Calcutta and Delhi learning about India, its music and its culture, will give us a taste of his unique music. We will have volunteers singing and performing acts. If you would also like to do something please drop a message. We look forward to seeing you all on Diwali!
